When we are not showing we can usually be found either with

 a paintbrush or scraper in our hands. We have been doing up

(that’s loosely how you can describe it) our house, we have

madly knocked two houses into one, to get more space, but

at the moment it doesn’t seem to have worked. Apparently

 these projects can take ten years, so we have only five years

 to go. If anyone cares to visit, please bring your overalls and

a new paintbrush, I’m running out of them.
